Hero, Madman, or Villain???

In recent years Errol Flynn fans saw the passing of many of his leading ladies from his films. These include Cornell Borchers, Ruth Roman, Eleanor Parker, Beverly Aadland, and Patrice Wymore.
Can you EF scholars name all the surviving Errol Flynn leading ladies from his films still alive today? Here are two hints, one name immediately comes to mind. Two of the leading ladies were child actresses at the time they worked with Flynn.
Thanks Ralph

TASMANIA’S new theatre awards have been christened The Errols, paying tribute to the state’s swashbuckling Hollywood star Errol Flynn.
Theatre Council of Tasmania chairman Rod Anderson announced the name, which was chosen via a public competition, on ABC Breakfast Radio this morning.
“My fellow judges and I were overwhelmed with the number of entries we received and were really impressed — not just with the level of interest shown — but the amount of thought that went into each of the 120-plus nominations,” Mr Anderson said.
Several people suggested The Errols as a potential name, leaving the judges to pick the competition winner out of a hat. Duncan Hall, from South Hobart, was selected and will receive two tickets an Errol-nominated show of his choice.
Designed to celebrate excellence in the performing arts throughout Tasmania, the inaugural Errols feature almost 30 award categories, open to local productions staged between February 1 this year and January 2015.
Judging has already started, with the first awards ceremony to be held next March.

Received some exciting news today in the Errol Flynn Mailbag!
I was thrilled to come across your wonderful blog in the course of some online research. I thought you might like to know that here in Northampton we are honouring the Royal Theatre’s most notorious alumnus by naming a new cinema after him, due to open next month.
I’ve attached the most recent press release on the cinema for your information, and an earlier one that explains why we chose the name. We’re a long way from Snohomish but do look us up if you’re ever in town!
Best wishes

Here is a article I just came across today on the internet that a team from Australia named a team after Errol’s cat. I think this is cool to have a sports team named after Errol’s cat, Bes Mudi.
The team’s name is Bes Mudi Bandits and here is the link to the page…..

There is a tulip producer here in Tasmania that has produced a new variety of tulip that is a bright red and is one of the first to bloom in the season. However it has not been named as yet and we have sent in some names including Captain Blood for their consideration. I will actually be at this farm on a tour in another two weeks and will put some pressure on to honour Errol, I am a tour coach driver.
Now is your chance to enter your opinion on the new name, just go to this link www.vdqbulbs.com… and send them an email of your suggestion.
