I‘ve decided to follow Lady Olivia‘s example and have a glass of Champagne after all (it just seems more fitting than beer) for the Baron‘s birthday. And what better way to enjoy it than with one of the classics…

Last night, the “Royal Palm Girls” of Boca Raton, toasted Errol from from upscale Royal Palm Place with various. fine wines. Two women at Royal Palm Place knew Errol personally during the 50s. One was Ethel Merman’s publicity/business manager. Another waa a resident at Sunset Towers in. LA.

Both agree he was the most handsome, charming, and exciting man they ever met. Even now, the mention of his name makes them very visibly happy. I can’t give all details but one still keeps his photo.

Just took a great birthday photo at the exact wooden bar Errol used to drink, at the old Delray Beach Arcade, at which he was just toasted with a Manhattan and Old Fashioned.

Will post photos later of all the toasting locations – Cap’s Place, Boca Raton Resort, and Delray Beach Arcade. Headed to Palm Beach now.
