BTB, Cher Shang- it was a pleasant bit of time spent eavesdropping on these 3 slightly more than neophyte (but still needing a bit of brushing up in the accuracy of some of their recollected “facts” ) Flynn fans… but their general ENTHUSIASM more than made up for it and the fact they had a WONDERFUL time together.
(Joe Montegna did not only meet someone of Flynn’s era, but actually worked with him as well… not only was Flynn “IN”, in popular parlance, but so was this guy. So associated with a character in a film, actually gave rise to a device this character had invented and thus was re-born, not the telephone, but~”the Ameche”. This duely honored player’s first name was Don and he MUCH LATER co-starred with Joe in an oh, so very charming film “Things Change” (1988). The 80s, in fact, saw a resurgence in his film career and was again “honored” with an Oscar during this period!)
So, really nice to hang with Joe and company and re-experience that kind of fresh exuberance along with them!
