Not Just Errol’s father

25 Jun

Hi everyone I have received my invitation to buy this book about Theodore Thomson Flynn. I  believe it will be very interesting as he had an interesting life. There is more known about him in Tassie than Errol as he worked a long time as an adult here. Love Genene. Not just Errol's father

An interesting email note from Tim Reid!

08 Jun

This was an interesting email note from Tim Reid that I thought I would share with everybody and Tim kindly agreed to let everybody read it, too … thanks, Tim!

Hi David,

Thought I’d send you a shot from the Embarcadero, where Errol used to moor.  Taken on my cell, in very bright light, I had a tough time seeing & getting the shot.  Hope you can make it out okay!

In the foreground is the Star of India, and the sail upon which I saw Captain Blood & Sea Hawk.  Beyond the Star is the very location Errol anchored & entertained, the North Island Air Station, the primary site in Dive Bomber, and Cabrilli Point, where Fred McMurray crashed.

P.S.  This location is also where W.R. Hearst docked and unloaded and shipped out of town the dead director (Thomas Ince) many believe he shot aboard his yacht.
