Did you read the autopsy report? If you read it then is that any different than viewing a morgue photo? I felt very sorry for Patrice and EF to have his very personal health findings detailed and even published in a book. I am curious about the photo but not desperately searching the web for it. If it were here I would view it. I personally will always remember him as he looked in Captain Blood, Sea Hawk, Robin Hood and up until his early 40's. Could the morgue photo be any worse than the airport photo? I can only momentarily look at that one!

So if any of you are fans of the TV series The Tudors you may be happy to hear that costumes from films such as The Private Lives of Elizabeth & Essex and The Sea Hawk may have been re-used for some of the costumes worn by Jonathan Rhys Meyers in the role of young Henry VIII.
Joan Bergin, the costume designer for 'The Tudors' –
“So, we've brought in dresses from Krakow, Madrid, Lithuania, London, LA. In fact, I discovered a huge trove of costumes from a 1930s Errol Flynn film which I found when I was costuming The Prestige in Hollywood. It was an enormous stroke of luck because they were perfect for the period and have the wonderful craftsmanship and attention to detail you'd expect from the Studio Era. And, in fact, Jonathan wears some of Flynn's refurbished costumes.”

I however have not come across any that have stood out or that I recognised from Flynn's movies, but if anyone see's/knows, I'd love to know!

And I have no desire to view it! I don't want it posted on this blog, for that matter… I have never made this kind of statement but feel strongly that I want always to think of Errol in life and not see his dead face or body posted here. I hope you will all agree with me. I hope I never see any of these photos in my entire life…

I got a nice email from Steve Hayes today, wishing me a Happy Thanksgiving and bringing me up to date with things in LA. Steve and his sometime English collaborator writer David Whitehead are busy with new books and David updated Steve's website at SteveHayes.org… recently. Steve and his lovely wife Robbin were literally headed out the door to spend some time in Palm Springs. Steve is writing westerns and two new mysteries, he says – working out on the treadmill and enjoying life!
When I grow up, I want to be just like Steve Hayes!
