Just so you know about me, I am always scanning the net for photos and images of my hobby’s in this case Errol Flynn. He is a big one and there a others but for now he is one of my passions. Big Bang Theory is about geeks and we are geeks of Errol I think. I found another site with cool photos and I am now sharing with you all in case you don’t know about it. It has many photos of Flynn but you have to search a bit maybe. The question on this photo: is it from Hello God?

Hi Twin, you can’t know this but we have had a discussion about this photo some time ago. I cannot find the original post but only this one: www.theerrolflynnblog.com… where we discussed the likeliness of it being from Hello God or Wife of the Czar. I think it’s more likely to be from the production of the former.

I had no idea Errol ever made a movie with Sean Penn. “Fast Times at Anzio Beach” perhaps?

… So what’s the verdict on this photo? Publicity or candid shot for Hello God? Or, is there not enough evidence for us to positively say? (Eastman House should have enough film to rapidly determine with certainty. It might be helpful (for both technical & promotional reasons) to send them this photo, just in case it is from Hello God and they don’t already have it.

Sean Penn! LOL. :D

That is a great photo, thanks twinarchers.

P.S. Errol looks so much like the Captain from The Ghost & Mrs Muir in that photo.I love that movie,Errol would have been perfect for the role.

You’re right, Lollie! … So we have Sean Penn in there, Errol looking ready to play with Gene Tierney in The Ghost & Mrs. Muir (bet both he & Gene would have loved that!!), and, of course, we also have the apparent future star of Fred McMurray’s Shaggy Dog. Indeed, this is becoming a shaggy dog story!

Before I read your comments Tim, I thought the same thing! He may be one of the dead end kids but looks like Penn in a previous life! I brandish a goat at present and have had one off and on. Great photo twinarchers!
