Featuring our Man Flynn!
— David DeWitt
Straight from Alfredo alla Scrofa in the Eternal City, where Florida-based friends and Flynn fans Donna & Maura dined on some of the famous fettucini for the first time and sent the following four photos from their Flynn-inspired trip.

Grazie mille to Maestro Karl Holmberg for the Flynnside information that made Donna & Maura’s fantastic Flynn dining experience a Alfredo’s a reality! Grazie Karl!
P.S. Per Donna, “EF has the largest photo [in Alfredo’s]” and “Maura went on [in the restaurant] about how hot she thinks Errol Flynn is!”

This might be of interest to you. Patrice is being interviewed at the Jamaican Palace I have stayed there a number of times you can google it to see the black and white exterior the concrete floors outside. By the way she ran a boutique at the hotel where I met her in 1996. my wife at the time and my daughter bought some things from her she was most gracious. I remember asking her for a good local place for lunch and she recommended Woody’s Low Bridge nearby. We loved it and I went many times in years to come with my 3 children. We never did the tourist thing. we met and befriended many Jamaicans over the years. Rafting, deep sea fishing, cliff diving etc all inspired by our man Flynn www.youtube.com…

Our dear friend Karl Holmberg writes to us:
… from Desparate Journey, 1942, and this is the film he was referencing during a news reporter’s question:
Gorbachev was a media celebrity in the United States, and the crowds cheered when he jumped out of his limousine and shook hands with people on the street. Reagan was out of the limelight, and it didn’t seem to bother him. Asked by a reporter whether he felt overshadowed by Gorbachev, Reagan replied: ‘I don’t resent his popularity. Good Lord, I once co-starred * with Errol Flynn.’
* meaning that the credit read: “starring Errol Flynn and Ronald Reagan

Appears Errol would have been a sushi and sashimi man.
