A Berkley 1981 Edition
1st Cooper Square Press Edition 2003
This is the edition I own, and I was so surprised to find that the captions to some of the photos were wrong!!! For example, the person who wrote them mixed up Ann Sheridan and Alexis Smith, Montana and Silver River and made Robert Ford into a director of Flynn's!!!!! I hope it was not Jeffrey Meyers, who wrote the introduction, since he is considered a Flynn expert???

My Wicked, Wicked Ways – What year was this publication printed? Anybody? As per David and Inga this is the Dell's January, 1961, first printing! Thank you!
In the quest of making this Blog a complete as possible information
center about our hero, I am proposing and asking the help of all our
Authors to bring for a start to the surface of “How many publications
where made to date of MWWW and publish as available, all book cover pictures of these reprints.” Furthermore, being most likely the hardest to establish is the year printed. Maybe we are lucky!
I
sincerely hope to acquire your assistance and good will in this
worthwhile venture.
I thank you in advance for any help and for your
most valuable expertise you always give so freely!

Book: Adventures of a “bon vivant”
When I registered myself on Facebook recently, immediately I got a message from a co-blogger, the very well known Ventura Sala, living in Mallorca. He mentioned the “must have” book, (which is only published in Spanish) called “Aventuras de un vividor”. It is only to mention the fact that this book actually exists. Although we haven't met yet (but we were d*mn close only a few weeks ago!), Ventura is probably the only local authority on Errol on that beautiful island in the Med.
He sent me two CD's in Spanish with a wealth of information, which in their own way are an enormous contribution to the legion of EF fans / admirers. Once we do meet, I am certain that he will take me to Errol's old “water holes”. Can't wait!!

Errol and Me
Well, now we have read all the interesting comments on “The Life and Work of Errol Flynn”, which unexpectedly for me sparked off great dialogue between our fellow bloggers and really got that great contrast emerging between people, could I perhaps ask you to take the bait and get the high standard articles going on this sublime website and continue to comment honestly on “Errol and Me” by Nora. For myself, at the time when I bought this fabulous discovery, I found it of enormous value trying to find out more on the enigmatic Errol, I learned a lot from it. It was an “eye opener” for me years ago, so “open” and well put together. Occasionally, I read a bit from this excellent book which I think should be a “must” to have.

The Life and Work of Errol Flynn
I don't know if this has ever come up before on the blog, I didn't look at all the blog's archive. I have a lot of books about EF. I wonder if other fans know the existence of this book written by D. Bramov in 2005. It is a psychoanalytical biography. I found it quite exciting, interesting and definitely intriguing, no photos though. Worth looking into for sure.

Ia anybody aware of this?
I received an e-mail from Thriftbooks and I looked a little at their offerings and I found this book, which is quite strange to me.
There is a book for sale “My Wicket, Wicket Ways” by Sandra Cisneros,
released in 19992 by Knopf Publishing and it is a hardcover ISBN
0679418210
Can anybody use Errol Flynn's title of his book?
I am rather curious!

Any other reviews of Robert Matzen's E&O book?
Hi all!
Wanted to re-post my blog entry about Robert Matzen's “Errol & Olivia” book (since it's way down on the page), and also wanted to ask if anyone else (besides Brenda and Kathleen, I think) has read the book, and what are your thoughts on it?
Here's what I had to say:
I finally finished reading Robert Matzen's E&O book, and “WOW!” is what I have to say. I highly recommend this book — it's an absolute must-read for Flynn fans (esp “Errolivia” fans)! After reading it, I felt a lot like I felt after I read Errol's autobio MWWW…Matzen's book sucked me in and “drained” me emotionally; it was like being on an emotional rollercoaster, but one I very much enjoyed in the end. One reviewer of the book said it best: at times she wanted to kiss and hug the book (b/c it's *that* good), and other times she wanted to throw the book across the room (b/c parts of it were “intense”). That's pretty much how I felt while reading it. Still, I'm SO glad a book like this was finally written about Errol and Olivia, and it contains so many wonderful photos too! My one and only “complaint” about the book is that, at times, Matzen comes down hard on Errol, more so than he does on Olivia. I know Matzen is a long-time Flynn fan, but he doesn't let Errol off easy much of the time, he doesn't cut him much slack, as it were. Yet you can still tell how much he does admire both Errol and Olivia, and in the end he concludes they really did love each other (in a bittersweet kind of way). Needless to say, this book made me laugh out loud at certain moments, made me cry, and made me think more about both Errol and Olivia, and made me love and appreciate them and their films all the more. Thank you, Robert Matzen!

The Young Errol: Flynn before Hollywood
I feel very fortunate and priviliged indeed to have been screened to become of the latest elite members and authors of this exiting website. Intending to write about our hero soon, I wonder if there is anybody out there perhaps interested in some personally owned items of Flynn in my possession (all with their individual CoA of course) like superb cufflinks, handsome scarves, excellent smoking robe, and an outstanding initialed (and inscription on the back) sterling silver cigarette case given to Errol by his idol John Barrymore.
Also I am selling at the moment the VERY rare book: “The Young Errol: Flynn before Hollywood” by John Hammond Moore and the entertaining “The Big Love” by Florence Aadland now both featured on EBAY.COM…
Thank you.
