Mara Maru

04 May

I just ordered this film and it will be the first time in many years that I have seen it. I think I have seen it all the way thru but now I will have it in my collection. Ruth Roman is very nice and I enjoyed her in The Far Country with James Stewart which I hope will be put on Blu Ray some time since it is a great film but does not hold up to LED screens. I never saw it on a CRT but I am sure it looks much better on those.null

It’s so wonderful that you’re doing this for the blog, twinarchers. Thank you! Examining the history & quality of these films is so helpful to understanding the full breadth & depth of Errol’s life & career.

Aside from being exceptionally attractive, Ruth Roman must have had great survival instincts – surviving both the wreck of the Andrea Doria, and Maru Maru!

P.S. We have a couple of Masons in this one – Gregory & Perry.

Mara Maru is a terrific film.Watching Errol’s movies throughout his career shows what a truly brilliant actor he is and that he could play any type of role,so effortlessly too.I just re watched one of my favourite EF movies That Forsyte Woman again on the weekend and he is incredible in that,I definitely recommend that movie to anyone. :)
