Who Brushwhacked The Baron-to-Be in Manhattan? Madame Natalie Paley LeLong,that’s who!
Here is Man Ray’s photographic portrait of Errol Flynn’s notorious “Princess Naomi Tiarovitch”, who, to my knowledge, has never been identified before in any document or forum. In fact, she is specifically never identified by her true name in any work I have seen regarding Flynn, including, of course, not in My Wicked, Wicked Ways. Using the “Errol Code” I have confirmed that she twice travelled on the same ship from Europe to New York with virile Errol*. The first time she was carrying with her a rather infamous hair brush. She was on a separate SS Paris passenger list than Errol, and she did not identify herself as Russian, nor as a princess – but she was indeed both. Mr. Flynn was telling the truth – in Errol Code!

Errol was almost the man between Paley & Hepburn in the disastrous film, Sylvia Scarlett – the one that got Katie tagged as “box office poison” and helped send Princess Tiarovitch back where she came from.

I love it that these items from his book are all coming true. However I still wonder if he ever had a job biting the balls off sheep? I did not question it at the time but now I just wonder why that job would ever exist? Did I miss the joke?

I have not conducted any personal research (especially not any field research) confirming Errol’s professed participation in what many believe to be a fictional practice, but (no pun intended) – though I would certainly be sheepish about engaging in such daggy work – it is indeed STILL going on in some parts (no pun intended.) The link below provides scientific proof of it! It’s reported to be still done in Montana, too – the state, not the movie! (Maybe this was the real reason cattlemen didn’t want the sheep people around – not because the the sheep were grazing on the grass, but, rather, because the bleatin’ sheepers were grazing on the bleatin’ sheep!)

I’ve heard, but have not seen, that Mike Rowe once featured “dagging the hogget” on his very-appropriately-named show “Dirty Jobs”.
Alexis Smith surely must have heard Errol’s accounts of his low level sheep husbandry, which finally explains why she really shot him at the end of Montana – she just wasn’t up for kissing him with all those castrated sheep behind him.

For the record, there was only one women on board the SS Paris who officially identified herself as Russian. She wasn’t a princess, per se, but she was a sort of royalty – musical royalty! She was Raya Garbousova! – One of the greatest cellists in history!! Indeed, Pablo Casals – who wasn’t bad on cello himself – said she was the best he’d ever heard.
