Hm… the length and style of his hair looks a little more into the direction of Silver River… dunno.

Hi Inga;
It could be – I have no idea? What gives a hint as there is an advertising for “The Thin Man” on top. Silver River was 1948. Maybe some of our members have the magazine.
Take care,
Tina

I have this one but not at hand. Doesn't the fact that it says Objective Burma on the cover give it away somewhat?
best wishes,
Brian.

Hi Brian;
My feeling too, in particular as both movies are made in 1945 and the magazine seem to advertise them both simultaneously “The Thin Man goes Home” and “Objective Burma”
I'll have others coming.
Take care,
Tina

Hi Brian;
I should have said “released” in 1945 not made in 1945!

Flynn finished filming “Objective, Burma!” in August of 1944 and worked on “San Antonio” throughout the final months of the year. If I'm reading it clearly, the magazine's pub date appears to be February, the month in 1945 when “Objective, Burma!” was in fact released. Flynn's hair in the cover photo is too long to have been shot during “O,B”, and looks exactly as it does in “SA”, making it likely that it was a recent portrait sitting that was used by the magazine.

He was talking to his chef about his love affairs? Must have been a good chef! Maybe your brother can tell him that I am NOT INTERESTED at all. (I guess I am the only woman in the world who does not find Tom Cruise attractive… )
