Thanks Tasmanian Twister for showing us, that Errol in real life was as much into movies as on screen. Obviously he had no intentions (or for once tavelling plans) on visiting the wizard of Oz.
Was Errol’s alleged fear of twisters possibly connected at all to his time in Rockhampton? Or, was he himself the biggest cyclone they’ve ever seen??

Here’s a circa 1930 photo of Rockhamlton’s Quay Street on the Fitzroy River, when and where Cyclone Flynnie hit the unsuspecting town.
