Dive Bomber
Dive Bomber, the 1941 classic starring the dashing Errol Flynn as a young Naval aviator. Filmed in Coronado, with scenes of the Hotel Del and North Island, this film is a reminder of how exciting filmmaking was, even in the pre-digital age. The film will be introduced by Errol Flynn’s daughter, Rory Flynn, and his grandson, actor Sean Flynn, followed by a Q and A.

Ahoy All Good Flynnmates
Yesterday morning I had the zensational pleasure of swilling my first cup of “Zaca Tea”. Sent to me by a good friend and preeminent Flynnian scholar, I zealously recommend to all this elegant, inspiring and energizing blend of “super-teas”.
Here’s my very first Zaca, sailing over the Florida Intracoastal. Flynn himself cruised these very waters on various voyages through South Florida. One of his favorite places to hide from Lili & JW was in an oceanfront front home,two miles ahead (south) of this location, across from the Cloisters of Boca Raton.

Dear fellow Flynn fans,
it is well documented, because Marvel-ous Stan Lee never made no fuss about it, that Errol Flynn was his childhood hero. The pic above shows that our Hollywood hero also was his inspiration for another of his comic book heroes. Add Asiatic facial features, Klingon ears as well as wings on heels to it and voilà “Namor” appears. That name has the same number of letters as Errol plus contains or should we say implicates some portion of “Amor”. A little bit of Amor is in every man, but since…
By the way, a further reference to Flynn, but no relation to its main character can be found in this year`s Marvel movie “Ant Man”.
