Interesting shot! It still shows how debonair Flynn was, even in later life. My guess is this photo is from circa 1953 or is it from later?–A. R.

The attribution of the photo only said the “50’s” so you could well be right, A.R.!

I’d say he looks much older, towards the end of the 50s. It seems to have been heavily retouched.

Nice?! COLORIZED, David! That should be downright illegal! I believe the photo was taken in 1956 in conjunction with the Errol Flynn Theatre.

Hi Inga;
You are right! Looks like more 1958 around the time of the filming “Too Much Too Soon” or “The Roots of Heaven”, both 1958.
If you compare this picture with David’s – very similar look.
