Kino Lorber DVD’s and BluRays are of superb quality with the best possible film restoration.

Can anyone guess who the player in this production was who was “in over 500 motion pictures and 1000 television shows.”?

Played with such notables as Gable, Bing, Hope, Coop, Stewart, Grant, Cagney, Tracy, Stanwick, Davis, de Havilland, (Jean) Arthur, Lombard, (Roz) Russell… just to name a few.

I forgot to mention… she was also in an Errol Flynn film: Dive Bomber!

A ubiquitous yet not altogether memorable of a presence in films as that other GREAT character actor of the time, Beulah Bondi.

Both near the very beginning of sound film and working right to the near end of their lives on television.

As busy as they both were- their paths didn’t cross professionally except in one film: Penny Serenade.

And finally, her initials are A.D.

Like Kilroy she was, literally, EVERYWHERE but- in a sense more background than foreground, and yet… still somehow vaguely familiar.

SO finally, to give the previously cited initials some flesh and blood so to speak, I give the name: Ann Doran!
