– Within two hours of Hollywood

– A location not known for fishing

– Quite a playground in Errol’s Day

– A Footsteps in the Dark co-star was a co-owner

Your clues (and Google) get the credit. The only Hollywood playground within a couple of hours that I could think of was Palm Springs, and Bellamy was Flynn’s co-stair in Footsteps. When I Googled Bellamy co-owner and Palm Springs, the racquet club popped up. Another great find, Tim!
