But opportunities arose, and one of them came from an unexpected source: Actor Errol Flynn.
In 1946, Flynn notified Scripps that he planned to sail his schooner from San Diego to Acapulco and that he was willing to take a scientist with him. Hubbs quickly stepped forward and ended up collecting a great number of specimens.”

As I’ve said before, I really love the life of Errol outside of movieville. His times with his father are very interesting and I worked with biologists for 2 years in my 20’s. It would have been awesome to be on some of their excursions into the field. I get a kick outta Nora and watching the big Ham fall from the chopper..LOL! Home movies par excellent!
