I would have saved this comment, David, except for the fact that you’re from circa Seattle, you posted an Adventures of Robin Hood poster, you specifically mentioned “106” in connection to our Olympiad immortal. Thus and therefore, I believith the following is apropos:

West of Seattle, just off 106 on the Olympic Peninsula is “Robin Hood Village”, on the Hood Canal, built by “The Adventures of Robin Hood set designer Don Beckham”.

It is said to be gorgeous. Wonder if Flynn ever stopped in?

Gentleman Tim, I’ve been to or passed through Hood Canal area a few times. Never encountered Robin Hood Village. Fascinating, isn’t it? There is a road outside of Snohomish, Washington, where I lived for so many years and on the drive to Monroe the next town there was a side road I’d never explored so one day I took it and found myself looping back to the main highway on Robin Hood Lane … It became a frequent side trip on the way to Monroe if I had the time.

Looking about my own area for “Robn Hood” I just found this. In nearby Murrel’s Inlet there came up a spot named Robbin Hood. Now, Murrel’s Inlet is a trendy spot, nice homes, expensive restaurants, home to the rich, you could say. So what was this Robin Hood thing? Looking closer, I see it is a wooded area with nothing in it on Gaspatila Circle.
