Except for furry animals and pickled herrings, it sure looks like it was a great place.
I can’t tell if Errol is running to or from Scandanavia in this photo. That smile could indicate either.

Errol once went to Norway, in early 1953 to a beauty pagant. He helped as juror to select Miss Norway who would then participate at the Miss World Event.
Very cool, pageantheinz. I didn’t know that. … Per the article l linked below, must have been an extraordinarily difficult and confusing decision between the winner and runner-up!!

Don’t feel bad for the twin sister, though, beautyheinz, she went into the Miss Universe Contest! Norway was the way to go in ’53!! (Even though France won both Miss World AND Miss Universe) Man, Judge Flynn must have had his hands full with all these beautiful Europeans.
