Dear DTP,
your comment stung me like a harpoon. I wanted to do a post on this link for a long time. It merits one anyway. I think that not too many Flynnions are aware of Errol`s extracurricular excursion. Thanks for the insti(n)gation!

Thank you, daringthorpe. … That video is very popular all of a sudden! … I was actually going to be part of my next clue in my almost completely forgotten “Amazing Feat” quiz. But I haven’t had a bite on that for quite a while!

Yes – Apparently Bluenose ll was mired in money woes for awhile. Tim posted a beautiful photo of our Canadian stamp honoring Bluenose awhile ago. The Zaca was built along the lines of Bluenose.
