Bev’s Birthday Party

31 Oct

Another pic.  AND… I was wrong about it being at CIRO’S!  Robert Florczak has let me know that Bev’s party was actually at Villa Frascati.  Thanks, man!!!

PS:  We have a 99% confirmation on the pool that we’ve been discussing in the posts before.  Compared pics and it appears to be the same.  Not the Knickerbocker!!!  More very soon!

Thanks, Delvan. Another great photo!

By any chance, did Bev tell you if there were multiple parties? The photo Tina posted appears to show Errol in a possibly different suit and location??

Also, any idea who the lady having so much fun next to Errol is?

Ok. Thanks, Delvan. … So, let me see if I have this correctly ↩

This photo and the other you posted with Mickey Rooney were taken at Villa Frascati (on Sunset Boulevard) in celebration of Beverly’s (17th) Birthday.

Btw, because of the chianti bottle, this photo is more readily discernably an Italian restaurant than others. Did Bev favor Italian food?

It’s in hyding at 8717 Sunset Boulevard, Delvan. Lots if shots linked below, but, because of extensive rebuilding, I’m not sure any of them can be matched up with the birthday party photos …

It is good to know that Robert is still in the orbit. I bet he knows more about that cozy gorl.

Looks like Errol might have known or got to know that cozy gorl, too!

This is Hollywood as good as it gets. A Belgian Restaurant with an Italian (wine) name located in Beverly Hills. The waiter was from Madagascar I suppose.

And the star guest from Tasmania – with another rabid anti-Nazi guest (Otto) from Germany famous for playing Nazis in the movies. Hurray for Hollywood!

P.S. I heard Errol really enjoyed the Carne Asada.

Though this distinguished location has been a number of notable public venues over the years, stripheinz, it was early on the home of the less-than-distinguished Orson Welles stand-in and thief, John Abernathy. Hoo-ray for Hollywoodland!
