How does one know Moody from Arno apart?
Come to think of it that would make a great quiz question! Anybody picking that one up?

Hi gals. I really like the pic of EF up in the sails holding his cigarette and I think there is a dog down below–but again which one? Great question.

Hi Kathleen;
If you are talking about the picture of Errol high up in the rigging of the mast of the Sirocco is is Arno below, because the picture was taken August 1, 1941 by Peter Stackpole. That is if the black spot is Arno – maybe – I can't make it out, but in 1941 Arno was still alive.
Take care, Tina

Arno was lost at sea on Sunday, July 13, 1941, over two weeks before the Stackpole shoot.

Thanks Robert for this date, I thought he lost Arno in 1942.
Do you know when and how Moody came into his life?

Via Moody's mama

Hi Robert;
Maybe via his father?
Joking aside – do you know how and when Errol acquired Moody? Is there any data?
Take care, Tina

No data that I've been able to uncover.
Yet.

They look a little different, but it's hard to describe. I think the best way to tell them apart is to look at Errol. ;-)
