John Carroll Rides (The Tonga?) Again!
John “Zorro” Carroll was a running mate of Errol’s – in California & the Caribbean. Years later, Carroll, quite the playboy himself, claimed to have a boat Errol “gifted him” in Florida, specifically, from what I can decipher in St. Petersburg. Some have said (including Carroll himself reportedly) this boat was used for some very adventurous adventures in the Caribbean (which I won’t go into right now, until I have better researched.) Does anyone know what boat Errol “gifted to” Zorro? There’s reason to believe it may have been the Tonga, and that this is how the Tonga may have made its way to St. Petersburg!

“Captain Blood-Then & Now” Laguna Beach
More from my “Captain Blood” shots. Three Arch Bay is a private beach within a naturally enclosed double-cove that’s part of a gated community and not open to the public. In the fourth photo you’ll notice the top of a rock I call “the teapot handle” has eroded away. The Flynn-Rathbone duel was actually filmed in both coves but edited to appear as if one location.
At some point I will post “Then & Now” scenes from the film that were shot in Palm Canyon, California. Palm Canyon and Laguna Beach were the only locations outside the studio that were used in filming “Captain Blood.”
Enjoy!

I am celebrating!
Google+ mangled my Errol YOU TUBE channel and mixed it up with a website of some health company. It took me three month to finally fix this problem and hundreds of hours. The time I spent on it is unbelievable and Google or You Tube does not help. I finally got a friend to help me who knew more about it than I did. What an ordeal! And now that my Bariebel Channel is back to normal I am celebrating with Errol!

Flynn + Fantasy?
I have a guilty pleasure of a wish that a Flynn in better shape could have stared in this 1958 classic film that is on Blu Ray and has more than a cult following since it is a Ray Harryhausen film. I love fantasy and science fiction and I think he would have been perfect in the role that Kerwin Mathews had. The only problem is that all his films were low budget back then and they would not have been able to afford Flynn. Anyway its fun to dream about it.
