“The Fuhrer and the Tramp” is a graphic novel about Charlie Chaplin fighting Adolf Hitler while making the Great Dictator. The Little Tramp is joined by two of FDR’s secret agents, Hedy Lamar and Errol Flynn, and the three of them forge head to finish filming the movie, and punch a lot of Nazi’s in their Nazi faces along the way.

Hi,
I enjoyed the Laguna Beach then and now pictures you posted. Very nice. Years ago, I came across to complete production records for that film, even down to who the sword fighting doubles were on the beach and when they lost the sun. Very interesting stuff,
You can pretty much go day by day and scene by scene and even shot by shot of that film and know what time people came and left. A bit of a rabbit hole! But it’s a complete record of a classic film.

Louis Kraft And Sand Creek and the Tragic End of a Lifeway win Award!

As we sometimes do, when one our own here on the blog does something worth promoting we happily do it! And this time, Louis Kraft, writer and historian has penned a wonderful book called SAND CREEEK AND THE TRAGIC END OF A LIFEWAY and his book has just won the prestigious Wrangler Award for best book of 2020 from the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. There will be two days of festivities and a banquet. The Western Heritage Awards will be held in September. Congrats to our pal Louis Kraft … Louis is hard at work on a new book called Errol & Olvia as we note his new award!
