Can anyone give me any information on this photograph? It was listed on e-bay a few months ago, I bid on it but the price went way above what I would actually pay.

Hi Brian;
I think – not sure – it could be a promo picture of the stage play by Huntington Hartford, which was an adoption of “Jane Eyre.”
Maybe others on this blog can share more light on it.

I would agree, this must be Errol as Mr Rochester and his leading lady as Jane Eyre…

Both ladies are right about this photo. I concur.
Shame Errol doesn't look to good here in my humble opinion.

The photo is, indeed, from “Master Of Thornfield”, and shows Flynn with actress, Jan Brooks.

Oh wow — never thought I'd see a photo of Errol as Rochester from that short-lived production. Awesome find! :-)

Thanks guys… I had a feeling it was from 'Master of Thornfield' and I'm kind of wishing I had bought it now. I think it sold for about £80.00.

Hi – sorry – I have little info, I only met her once when she came to the UK for a family funeral and in was too shy to bother her with questions. I am interested in her career now and believe she is still alive but have no more info. Sorry!
