Don Juan!

27 Mar

Quiz question:
In the movie there is a scene which is somewhat out of context and rather funny as it is ten years apart.
What is the scene and where is this scene to be found?

Hi Inga;
You can post your answer anytime! And for other members too to have a go at it. I will answer the question next Sunday!
Anybody can post a quiz question anytime they want to do so!
Just the answers will be posted a week later. Each Question has their own REPLY button – so it's easy!
I thought that this scenario we suppose to apply. If I am wrong please correct me.

Yep, but if I am or any other member is posting a solution – which, of course, must not be right – the others can see the answer… which does not matter? Don't know. That's why I asked.

Hi Inga;
Answers could be right and on the other hand maybe not.
Why could your answer not be seen? I think it is great!
Go ahead and post it!

Ok… I think that you are referring to the scenes which are inserted at Don Juan's arrival in London. The odd thing about it is that it these are scenes from “Elizabeth and Essex” with Errol as Essex. You can see him several times, and yet they make us believe that this is the captain of the guard who is escorting the Duke. Maybe I'm on a completely wrong track here… there are also other scenes inserted from Robin Hood's escape from the castle… but when I think about it, this is almost too easy, Tina, so I must think about your question again.

Just watched it – its the entry into London yes, where Flynn (from E & E) is on a black horse, in armour, passes through the crowd, then, under an arch. Good eye there…never noticed that until you brought it up!!!!

Tina, it's Saturday… do we get the “solution” today, please? Maybe you were referring to a completely different scene?
Btw, if nobody feels any “desire”, I might post a new quiz question tomorrow?

Hi Inga;
You are the winner you have it dead on!
It is the scene where Don Juan is led to his pride by the Captain and you see the scenes out of Essex entering London in triumph. You see Errol several times as Essex.
Warner Brothers must have thought we are all a non-observing naive public.
And for Brenda, I am glad you found out something new.
We are quite educational here – ha-ha-ha!
Inga, you post yours if you wish and so can others. I even think we could accommodate more than one question at the same time? What is the opinion of you two or anybody else of this blog?
The best to both of you,
Tina
