I haven’t established the exact connection, heinzmon, but this preston fellow appears to have a very interesting pedigree, reaching back to Earl Grey – the earl, not the tea – through his grandfather, the notable Samuel Hynes*.

* Are the Hynes’s related to the Heinz’s, heinzmon?? (I know there are a lot of varieties involved with that most distinguished name. Perhaps up to 57.)
