I’m able to create new images of Errol Flynn with my laptop. How long until there’s a new adventure from an actual studio using Errol’s image and voice? Robin Hood lives.

Awesome artwork, zacal! Won’t that be Great – a new Flynn film, with Errol playing lead!! We can hope for more from Capotain Blood, Robin Hood, Jim Corbett, Don Juan, and another cruise on the Zaca! …. and prequels to Charge, Hawk & Boots. And how about a new Star Wars with Errol, et al.

In 1980, a pal of mine published a story in Creative Computing Magazine called “Computies”. It was about a distant time when computer generated images could so closely resemble the real thing that it was possible to have Humphrey Bogart star in a new contemporary film, and even duplicate his voice and mannerisms perfectly. We’re not quite there yet but we’re getting closer … The story was written before most people had computers in their homes. And most phones had a cord on them and the buttons dialed a phone number!
