How To Colorize Your Favorite Sea Hawk

28 Aug

Sea Hawk Video Link

I would like to see some of these films made into color when the technology arrives. I know this is a sore spot for some but many films would benefit from it I think. Check out the video and tell me what you think.

Excellent post, twinarchers! Even with the Olympian black-and-white work of people like Sol Polito, “colorizing” is very important and intriquing to continually ponder and evaluate. It’s no doubt just around the technological corner.

Let’s also chop a few heads and get Olivia and Basil in here, too!!

I’m not a huge fan of colorization but this is a stunning job of work. I know it took hours and hours of painstaking work.

Used to watch some of the colorized films that came out back in the day, including this one and it gave a better three dimentional depth that was interesting, but they didn’t colorize everything in the movie. Some background elements were left black or grey. Overall, not very satisfying but a definate novelty.
