St. Augustine celebrations being held in the 450th Anniversary year of America’s Oldest City and First Seaport.

At the very site where the then-Spanish city was famously raided by Sir Francis Drake – the legendary privateer on whom Errol’s character in The Sea Hawk was predominantly based.

“Drake’s Raid” (on the direction of Queen Elizabeth) was part of the Great Expedition.
