Apparently, Errol Flynn created a record number of torn or split tights during the filming of Don Juan!

hee hee! I remember reading too that Errol made them shorten the tunic part of his Don Juan costumes also,and wouldn’t ‘tape himself down’ like the studio wanted him too. :)

I noticed a scene in the movie where his tights had a place where the seam was broken, appearing to make a small hole in the front. I was surprised that the “gap” hadn’t been caught during dailies of the filming. I will have to watch again to recall the exact scene where this occurs. The article about the tights was hilarious!
