The book, ” The Young Errol: Flynn Before Hollywood” has been re-published last month (11/2/2011) so there are more copies of the book out. I have ordered a copy of this book from Barnes and Noble and will be receiving it soon. I am wanting to let everyone know who may want to have a copy of this book about Errol.

This is why I subscribe to this blog.. I love all of the new “for the first time” things we learn here… especially because it keeps him alive in our minds and hearts. He was, after all, the most handsome man to ever grace the silver screen…
Your efforts are appreciated…

Thanks for this great find, Mary Ann! It’s amazing that this book has been re-published, but obviously, there was a certain demand.

Great find, Mary. This one seems to have been kept quiet, or maybe I am just out of the Flynn loop these days, but this is a real shock. I have just gratefully ordered it for a price of £9.00, postage included. To say I am delighted is an understatement.

Thanks for posting this. Every time I come and visit this blog I end up spending my money on EF. Not complaining at all–there’s just so much info here. I ended up ordering the book, Robin Hood in blueray format and a Korngold CD–all with free shipping. Merry Christmas to me.

Thank you for the information, Ms. Hearn. I have also purchased a copy from Barnes and Noble and would like to add that while the book not only provides information about the “young Flynn before Hollywood”, but also features two “Postscripts” where author John Hammond Moore goes into Flynn after death, i.e., current controversies surrounding Flynn, as well as reviews of a few other books about Flynn. It is definitely a book to have in one’s collection. Thank you, again.–A. R.

I just read this, it’s also available on everand (formerly scribd). I found a few typos but generally a very tight book (also he mistakenly says the Zaca is a successor to the 1st Sirocco) and Mr. Moore seems to have done a lot of research for it.
