Welcome!

Somehow this notice was published twice on the blog! I deleted one of the copies that had the fewest comments – so Tina's welcome for Nick was deleted with it. Tina, you can re post to this article! I have never had this particular problem before so please accept my apologies for not noticing it!

Thank You Tina, your warm wishes are greatly appreciated. People must get tired hearing about Health problems. But 17 operations combined with constant uncertainy regarding ones living situation do stretch from Days to Weeks to Months to Years. I think now the rollercoaster ride may have come to an end. I feel strong and Iam doing everything I can to rebuild my life. I have one frustration right now regarding our mutual interest in Errol. Over the many months this past year while I had no access to internet I had obtained an excellent software to restore badly deteriorated Videos. I made the most Beautiful copies of Cuban Rebel Girls, The Big Boodle, Without Incident, and Crossed Swords. I obtained the most wonderful sound and picture quality and had them stored on an external harddrive. I was hoping to obtain the use of someones computer that would allow me to burn them to disc. One morning as I plugged in the Harddrive to add some photos I restored. The Drive slid off of the tower and hit the emergency cutoff switch. Since then I have been unable to access the drive. I have more than 700 movies on it. I need to find someone who can help me rescue everything. Well Cheers Everyone. Iam Glad to be Back,

I am glad you are feeling better and do everything to rebuild your life. I am sorry to hear the problems with the Drive and I sincerely hope you will find somebody to fix it. What a loss this would be – wow – having 700 movies on it!
I wish you all the very best in your quest and it is great to have you back!

There are quite a lot of programmes on the internet which could possibly help (I recently restored most of the photos I had deleted from my SD card with one I downloaded), but it is probably better to find an expert, maybe in a local computer store?

Thanks for the welcome. Always amazed at the folks here, and your knowledge and fondness for all things Flynn. Although I live in the US now, I was raised in Tasmania and lived in Hobart for a few years. If you ever get the chance to visit Australia, Tassie is a must see destination for any Flynn fan!

Hi Nick;
Great News – Hobart here I come! I wish!
Want to ask you if you don't mind – do you know some of the schools Errol visited in Hobart as a child between 6 and 12 years of age? Would be nice to get your and other various perspectives?
Take care,
Tina
