I would like to go to that. I enjoyed the documentary on the DVD of TAORH and will have to get the BluRay one day. Anyone here have both?

I saw this camera at a screening of Robin Hood.(along with a matte painting from the film–boy, was that a trip) For me, real movies ended with the end of Three-Strip Technicolor. The last film to use it was The Godfather, Part II. I don’t know how “Apocalypse Now” looked so good and textured without it but all films since then have looked like TV movies to me. the-adventures-of-robin-hood-1938-19.jpg?w=800

An update regarding the Technicolor exhibit at the Eastman House, which opens this week. The article’s author says Robin Hood is his favorite of all Technicolor films.
