Errol Flynn and his THE WHITE RAJAH Screenplay in 1936

07 Jul

Flynn’s screenplay, with co-author William A. Ulman, was accepted by Warner Bros. in early 1936 with all kinds of promises. But Errol’s career took off and he became busier and more popular than anyone ever imagined. The White Rajah kept popping up again and again … over a dozen different years there was an article about Errol and the making of the picture. Thee last time was a letter from Flynn to Jack L. Warner on May 20, 1947, that it would be a good time to make the film.
