Skull Island was “a no-brainer” says Samuel K. Jackson:

“I was trying to grow up and be Errol Flynn at one point. I wanted to jump from ship to ship, with a sword in my teeth.”

Saw the 3D show of Skull Island last night. No new Errol Flynn in the film, but the new Kong is indeed tremendous. Bravo to Industrial Light & Magic!!!

Agreed Gentleman King, “Skully” is a monumental monster movie and a highly entertaining one at that. But Tom Hiddleston despite all his rugged handsomeness reminds me more of Leslie Howard that Errol Flynn. Sorry, Mr. Spielberg, but I can see him very well wearing a Fedora hat and become the new Indiana Jones instead.
