Rory & Errol are really on a roll at TCM this past year! First, featuring Rory on their annual Carribean cruise, then her great interview segments on “Starring Errol Flynn”, now this in the heart of Errol’s old stomping grounds, and, also very recently announced, presentation in April of “The Adventures of Errol Flynn”, as part of a new “In the Company of Legends” documentary series. GREAT work, Rory!…

We have been privileged to hear Rory talk on a few occasions down here in Tassie in 2007 and 2009 when she visited the land of Errol’s birth. Also at Friends school when she presented the award to students in their annual film making competition. The cmpetition is named after Errol as he was once a student there.
I trust that most of us would already have a copy of The Adventures of Errol Flynn in their library. It acknowledges members, David, Steve and Genene at the end of the doco.

I heard Rory Flynn speak about her father a couple of years ago and I must say she gave a good insight into what he was like as a father as well as a movie star. I found her talk very interesting and very enjoyable.…

I am at the TCMFF and very excited! If all goes well, I’ll be at SEA HAWK tonight and see Rory introduce the film :)

So this just happened…Rory is such a lovely person, everyone loved her presentation. I laughed, I cried. I sat behind Sean at SEA HAWK last night and I think he does look quite a bit like Errol.
