Odd, innit?

25 Mar

Hallo, everybody! Tina has pointed out that some articles that on my own computer are missing from the Main Page of the blog appear on her computer!

Very odd, innit? I have never encountered this problem before on the blog and so will put in a support ticket to find out why this is happening. If you look at the Recent Articles list you see the articles in their correct order. But on my computer several articles don't appear on screen, and I am wondering how many our authors out there are also wondering what happened to your articles?

I will let everyone know what happens when I get a response from the blogware providers. May take a few days!

    Ok! I used another browser (Firefox) and the missing articles are all there! So Internet Explorer is failing to show these articles at least on my computer and perhaps on John Teitlov's computer, as well, since he first mentioned the problem to me! Will let you know what the results of the support ticket will be on this unusual issue! Meantime, if you have any other browser besides Internet Explorer running, let us know if have any missing articles on your screen?

    Hi David;
    My computer technician told me years ago to use Firefox, apparently it is more stable and so did friends of mine. I am on Firefox ever since!

    Tina! I downloaded a newer version of Internet Explorer and it has a browser compatibility button but no joy, the blog viewed in Internet Explorer 8 is still the same with missing articles! In Firefox, everything is there! I will be using Firefox from now on!!!

    Hi David;
    You will be a much happier camper with Firefox, I know I was!
    Also, I received an interesting addendum from Amanda go and see “Beside Errol Flynn” re Helen Hunt!
    Small world, one thing always leads to another!
