Okay, I think I found the picture that made me think the other picture was taken on the same day. It is in the book the Two Lives of Errol Flynn and he is standing by the plane which took him to his first wedding. Standing next to him is his friend, Bud Ernst, who piloted the plane. All you can see in the picture is the tip of the wing and his hair is like in the 1935 photo. So now I want to find out where they were going in the other photo!
