Bob, I love it and I think it's one of a kind. I've never seen one before and it would be interesting to investigate its history. Are there any manufacturer markings on the bottom? Anyway, I think you have a real collector's item there!

Hello Tom!
I've checked the ceramic bust for any markings, and I find the name "Provincial, Mold 83 on the back. I'll do a google search and see whether I can find out more. Bob Re: Re: Re:The Bust Of Errol Flynn

Looks more like Wayne Newton.

By taking a closer look at the bust I have to agree with Robert.
The hairline is wrong - Errol had a small widow's peak - heart shaped face - the hairline at eye level came forward and then receded towards the ears. His sideburns where always trimmed narrow and ended mid ear it never came down to the earlobes. His cheeks had elongated dimples and he had a square chin with a slight cleft. Furthermore the shirt is very unlike Errol, more like the stars in Las Vegas wore in the late 50's and 60's. But Errol's most prominent feature are always his ears, an Errol Flynn characteristic indeed. Has ever anybody seen ears like that? His father certainly did not have his ears. Errol's ears are indented at eye level as if worn a bandana or kerchief for many, many years. Sean inherited his ear indentation, but not his earlobes. The upward separation from lobe to cheek is missing. Most probably a mixture of Errol's and Lili's ears. Maybe the artist was not very observant or maybe it is Wayne Newton. Sorry Bob, I certainly do not wish to put a damper on your bust, just something to consider when you do your research on the bust. Re: Re: Re: Re:The Bust Of Errol Flynn

I'm impressed, Tina--never knew anyone other than me who has made so close a study of the Flynn visage. Kudos!

Hi Robert;
Thank you for your Kudos, I am very fluttered, in particular coming from you! I think I could describe Errol in many more facets! The best to you! Re:The Bust Of Errol Flynn

The Mask of Errol Flynn!
Hi Bob, I thought I post this picture for you to compare with your mask and the write up I made of Errol's face! Good luck in your research.
