Dennis Mullen, our "Man in Jamaica" has a rare item up for auction on ebay: a genuine piece of tile from Errol Flynn's famed Titchfield Hotel pool! This is one of three pools at the old hotel ruins - now on private property used mainly by the Jamaican Army. It is a guarded area so not easily accessed and certainly not without permission! But Dennis enjoyed a two hour tour and was invited back again to have have a rum and coke at the swim up bar, too! Like Flynn, Dennis Mullen has a bit of charm going for him, to say the least!

Errol Flynn was noted for his pencil thin mustache which was actually immortalized in the Jimmy Buffet song a few years ago.  Men attending the ball are encouraged to grow a similar mustache and take home a prize for the one most closely resembling Flynn’s.  It is noted that most men can grow one in about a week to 10 days.

DANCER’S GET READY- FREE LESSONS:

Think you’ve got two left feet.  Not a problem!  We even have free dance classes to help you out.  Just come by Frenchman’s Cove Great House at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays to get in some dance cramming before Dec. 17 rolls around. For details on the dance classes, call Instructor Marguerite Gauron at 876-335-4786.  As in past years, our best dancers will also go home with prizes.

Given the fact that many people on the internet try to make profit from the photos (while Mr Fegerl actually owns the copyright), he wishes to share the photos on a non-profit basis. He plans on doing, for example, a package of about 10 photos at a certain price, not more than $30 - depending on where in the world you live (registered shipping), the price will vary. Offering for sale from my extensive Hollywood memorabilia collection

A great opportunity to acquire this hardbound intriguing book, edited by Mr Josef Fegerl who wonderfully dedicated himself publishing parts of Dr Hermann F. Erben's incredible diary. This book contains over 160 unpublished photos. Dr Erben was a close friend and travel companion of Errol Flynn, one of the most outrageous and talented Hollywood screen legends.                

The title of this brilliant documentation is well worded: "A Friendship of Two Adventurers".

After meeting on April 14th, 1933, Flynn and Erben travelled more or less  half way across the globe on a tremendous journey that commenced in New Guinea and finished in Marseille. Probably great learning years for Flynn as a young man. Errol made his way to London and eventualy became a stage actor until Warner discovered him for the big screen in Hollywood. These two men remained in contact since and met later on several occasions. What a stroke of luck Erben and Flynn met in 1933 for us now to enjoy part of their lives.

Without any doubt, this book is in MINT condition and has been very well looked after. This fine copy is a fantastic addition for any serious 'Hollywood memorabilia'  or Errol Flynn collector. This book contains 96 pages. It shows extraordinary photos of both characters between the period of 1933 to 1940 never seen before.

Within the circles of Errol Flynn loyal fans and ardent admirers this book needs no introduction. Not often this hard-to-find book is offered for sale. A good investment.

(Personally living in Spain myself, I tried to find out the possible travels of Flynn during the Spanish Civil War time, but only when I required this book certain locations became clear, so personally it was of great help to me.)

Show #7  OLD HOLLYWOOD: On my first show about the Golden Age of Hollywood I invited Steve Hayes to the show so he could share with us his adventurous life starting when he arrived in Hollywood at 19 in 1949.   On that day he went to a party at Errol Flynn's famous Mulholland Farm and his life changed forever.   Steve got to know as friends, many of the greats of Hollywood Fame and he worked as a manager of GOOGIES, "CoffeeShop of the Stars".  Steve was later joined by filmmaker/author Eric Sherman the son of Vincent Sherman a credited Warner Bros Director.  Both guest had great stories about their experiences with all the greats they knew in their fascinating lives.  Definitely .. Show # 20 has independent filmmaker and one man film studio Vic Alexander who  is an American filmmaker with 35 years of experience shooting movies all over the world. A graduate of the San Francisco State University Film Department.  Vic Alexander has worked as cinematographer, editor, film director (between 1970 and 1992), and university instructor in the Cal State University system (1993-1999). Since 2000, Vic Alexander has returned to independent filmmaking in Southern California. In addition to writing about film, Vic Alexander also writes on a variety of subjects, including religion and history.  Tonight Vic explains film vs digital and why film is so much better and is still used by the major motion picture studios.  He has written a book on the process of making films called, FILMMAKING A to Z  which is now on Amazon. Show #22  has veteran character actor/director Richard Erdman who started out in the last days of vaudeville.  In 1944 at the age of 17 he was signed to a contract with Warner Bros. and he has been working as an actor ever since.  Richard has been in over 100 films and over 600 Television shows.  He was the barracks chief 'Hoffy' in "Stalag 17",  he played the Delong in the film "Cry Danger" with his idol William Powell and McNulty in that famous and popular Twilight Zone, "A kind of Stopwatch".  Richard has some great stories of his career and all the great actors he worked with in the past six decades.  This is a show about old Hollywood and what it was like working as an actor in those wonderful days of the studio system.  Download
