Mail Bag! Where the Boys Are! Sean Flynn (Uncredited!)

09 Dec

The Mail Bag brings a nice nugget about the film appearances of Sean Flynn (son of Errol Flynn and Lili Damita …)

I was looking at the filmography of George Hamilton and knew he was in that movie but was not listed as being in it on a particular website, looked further and also found THIS…. Guess who?
You have to look for “full cast &  crew” to find him. I tried to copy that link to tiny URL but no dice.
How about that!
GREAT Find … Thanks so much!

Interesting note, as I was the one who had IMDB put in that credit for Sean Leslie. In my research for my article “The Forgotten Films of Sean Flynn, son of Errol Flynn”, while watching WTBA, I saw a scene where Connie Francis and Paula Prentiss are walking towards the beach and Connie spies a young man walking pass them wearing an Xavier U sweat shirt. As he passes the two, Connie has an admiring smile on her face. I also posted the credit on Sean’s Wikipedia page. It also helps that in a section of Rory’s book, George Hamilton talks about Sean and how he got him to be in the film.–A. R.

Excellent Eyes, A.R.! Where the Boy Was? – He was on the northwest corner of Las Olas and A1A, right out front of the Elbo Room

      Sean is in the film @ ~ 45:25 – 45:27

Earlier in the film @ ~ 23:23 – 23:30, Sean can be seen throwing a pass to near where Connie was sitting on the beach.

Thanks to INLIKEFLYNN for discovering this Sean Flynn appearance. Less than 30 seconds of screen time but it is him! Ralph Schiller

Yes, most of any footage that featured Sean Leslie was left on the cutting room floor. It is thanks to George Hamilton who mentioned the football scene in a section of Rory Flynn’s book and my diligence to correct a mistake that had appeared on the IMDB that now stands corrected.. -A. R.
