    A photo of Errol accepting the honor would be a real trove, Academyman Tim. There`s none to be found on this side of the pond. He got his Bambi for the most popular actor of the year. Since Warner Bros. pictures had been banned during WWII, all the classics came to movie theatres in Germany and the rest of Europe from 1945 on. He was a hot commodity over here like in his hayday, only a decade later. The year after would see him come in third after Tyron Power and runner up Gregory Peck.
