Riding on the Rio Grande – a la Errol Flynn

The Travel Channel just aired a show (“101 Sand & Surf Hotspots”) featuring a segment on the history of Errol’s invention of the bamboo boat riding industry, something that as become quite an attraction, on various rivers around the island. A couple of excellent photos also.

      As a tourist attraction and activity in Jamaica, Texas Gal, yes. Before Flynn, per the articles below (among many others), it was apparently limited to locals.
